What is Botox?
Botox is the most widely known brand of botulinum toxin type A, and the word is often used for the whole group of similar products. Injected in very small, precise doses, it temporarily blocks the signal from a nerve to a muscle so that the muscle relaxes. What results can I expect?
Botox starts to work within a few days, and the full effect is usually seen at around two weeks. Expression lines look softer while natural movement is kept when the dose is planned well.
