What is Potenza?
Potenza is an RF microneedling system: a handpiece with very fine needles enters the skin and releases radiofrequency energy at a controlled depth. The heat and the micro-channels together stimulate collagen and the skin's repair process, which helps tighten pores, smooth texture and soften scarring. Although it is often called a laser, it works with RF energy rather than laser light.
Different needle tips allow the doctor to target oil glands for acne, the dermis for scars and pores, or to open channels for "pumping", where a booster such as exosome or Juvelook is pushed into the skin during treatment. It is part of our RF microneedling options, together with Morpheus8.
Who is a good candidate for Potenza?

What are the results and recovery like?
After treatment the skin is usually red and warm, with tiny needle marks that fade within one to three days. Mild swelling and dryness are common, and make-up can usually be applied after about a day. Pores and texture may look smoother within a couple of weeks, while scars and firmness improve gradually as collagen builds over one to three months. A course of around three sessions is often suggested, and results vary with your skin and concern.
